He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabor Vargo and Elizabeth Vargo; his wife Kathryn C. Vargo (Auguston); his in-laws, Gazel "Casey" and Helena Auguston; and his siblings, Rose McCurdy, Goldie Vargo, Elizabeth Stanko, Margaret Massullo, Julie Vargo, Julia Centofante, Stephen Vargo and Gabor Vargo.
He is survived by: his son James G. Vargo; his daughter-in-law Terrilynn Vargo of Columbus; his sister Irene Vince of Youngstown; and his friends, Frank Heri and Jay Koutsourais. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wasko Funeral Home (216 Coitsville Rd, Campbell, OH 44405).
