He is survived by: his children, Diana Contreras, Catherine Contreras-Gannon (Amy), Miguel Angel Contreras Jr. and Carmen Iris Contreras; and his brothers, Carlos and Carmelo Contreras. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many great- grandchildren.
