He was predeceased by: his parents, Periclis Stamos and Niki Stamos (Maillis); his siblings, Mary Kapsulis (George), Steve Stamos (Diane) and Louie Stamos; and his brothers-in-law, John Radack, Drossos Tiliakos and Nick Pantelakis.
He is survived by: his wife Mara; his children, Dr. Niki Stamos Kotevski (Dennis) of Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Steve Stamos (Stephanie) of Chardon, Ohio and Patrick Stamos of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Irene Wacht (Mike) of Campbell, Izabella, Luka, Sia, Stelio, Skevo, Peter, Jayden, Jaclyn, John and Eleni; his sisters, Kathy Radack, Athena Tiliakos and Irene Pantelakis; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Stamos of Tarpon Springs, FL. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
