He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Adam Macala of Boardman, Stephanie Yungen (Scott) of Salem and Melissa Bartscher (Travis) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Brianna Bartscher, Peyton, Elliot Youngen and Tristan Smith; his brothers, Attorney Ronald G. Macala (Sally) of Canton and Kenneth A. Macala (Maryann) of Boardman; and his sister-in-law Lori Reese-Rogers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and neighbors.
