Violet Rosenberg Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Rosenberg of Campbell, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Casal and Pastora Rosende Casal; her former husband Roe; her siblings, Louisa Costarella, Anita Fuentes and Joe Casal; and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Cora, Rocky Costarella, Jim Malie and Tom Ciarniello.

She is survived by: her husband James Paul Rosenberg; her children, Sandy Smola (Steve) of Broadview Heights, Nancy Stoddard of Poland, Leslie Dixon (Tim) of Parma and Jim Rosenberg Jr. (Donna) of Poland; her sisters, Solina Cora, Adele Malie and Celia Ciarniello; her siblings-in-law, Clara Casal Woychik and Tony Fuentes; her grandchildren, Justin Walters (Laura), Ryan Walters (Breanne), Eric Walters (Ann), Nicole Stoddard (Dan), Natalie Stoddard (R. J.), Allison Stoddard, Alexis Benedis and Olivia Rosenberg; and her great grandchild Lena Ventura. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held due to the current pandemic and out of concern for the health and safety of our loved ones.

The family requests that donations be made to the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley to assist local organizations in the COVID-19 pandemic.
