She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Evans and Pearl Evans; her husband Cecil Phillips Sr.; and her children, Cecil Phillips Jr., Dennis Phillips, Troy Phillips, Clora Phillips, Joseph Ray Phillips, Debbie Burke and Sabrina Marcel Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Jimbo Phillips (Ruth), Steve Phillips, Trina Everett, Jeffrey Phillips and Martha Lily Henderson (Junior); and her brother Melvin Evans. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
