Darrell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Marcelyn. He is survived by: his wife Connie Harshbarger; his brothers, William and Bruce; his children, Cheryl Weil (Christopher), Robert Alexander (Margaret) and Renee Gallion (Dan); his grandchildren, Nicole Gallion (Bryan Bogart), Marina Kiani (Tasha) and Alex Alexander; his great grandchild Milly Bogart; his sister Dawn Alexander; and his brother-in-law David Harshbarger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charities close to Darrell's heart: Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Operation Homefront, March of Dimes, Wounded Warrior Project, Toys for Tots, or your local food bank.
