She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mutschler and Lorraine Mutschler (Flejter); her husband Ernest R. Schmidt; and her siblings, Gilbert Mutschler, Norbert Mutschler, Dietmar Mutschler, Astrid Mutschler and Alice Mowers (Mutschler).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Mark Schmidt and Michelle Powers (Schmidt); her son-in-law Gary Page; her grandchildren, Dr. Marcus Page, Dr. Gladdis Page (Thomas), Dr. Bianca Page, Dr. Jeffrey Greenlee (JR), Dr. Symara Schmidt Rubio, Ruben Rubio, Marissa Schmidt and Alexis Schmidt; and her great grandchild Thea Page. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
