Albert G. Checcone Obituary
We bid farewell to Albert G. Checcone of Canfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 20, 2025 at the age of 92. Albert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emidio Ciccone and Angela Ciccone (Ortenzio); his siblings, Gene, Mario Checcone and Marie Sakmar; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Ciccone, Rocco Giancarlo, Doro Vitella and Onorio Carlesimo.
He is survived by: his children, Emidio, Mark and Anne Marie; his grandchildren, Alberto, Alessia, Massimo, Lilia, Quintino, Vivia and Madeline; his brother Anthony Ciccone; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Carlesimo, Gino D'Angela, Rosemary Giancarlo, Anna Maria, Lucia D'Angela, Darlene Carlesimo, Jill Carlesimo and Josephine Carlesimo. He is also survived by his wife, his three children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lane Canfield Chapel (65 N Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Parish (300 N Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Mahoning District Council.
