He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Kohout and Henry Kohout; his wife Sharon; his siblings, Hank, Lad, Martha and Lilian; his grandson Daniel Fazzini; and his son-in-law Steve Fazzini.
He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Mack Kohout; his children, David Kohout (Susie) of Boardman, Lori Burkert (Tod) of Florida, Barbara Fazzini of Boardman and Jeff Kohout (Tracy) of Canfield; his grandchildren, David Burkert (Sara), Courtney Leon (Frank), David Kohout (Hanna), Jenna Hamsley (Logan), Camryn Kohout and Caden Kohout; and his great grandchildren, Arabella Hamsley, Willow, Aspen and Roman Kohout. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home (4221 Market St, Youngstown, OH 44512). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
