She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Hipple and Martha Hipple (Neely); her husband Kenneth G. Welch; and her aunt Helen Jordan. She is survived by: her daughter Sue Stevens (Micah) of Crozet, Virginia; her granddaughter Kirsten Stevens; her niece Elaine Shively; her great-nephew Andy Welch (Linda); her friend Beverly Baker; Seth Welch (Allison) and Zane Welch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Memorial Fund of Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Friends of Fido, or the donor's charity of choice.
