With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Daneen Harlan of Canfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Marie's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Marie's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lavigna and Wilma Lavigna; and her siblings, Daniel Michael Lavigna (Patty) and Wilma Beatrice Wahl (David). She is survived by: her children, John Matthew Harlan (Jack), Michael Daniel Harlan (Beth Anne) and Daneen Marie Wilson (Matthew); and her brothers, William Lavigna and Robert Lavigna (Barbara). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Christine's Catholic Church's. Schenley (3165 S Schenley Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's memory to the American Cancer Society.
