He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Richards and Georgia F. Richards (Green); his in-laws, Robert and Kathryn Hestand; his sister Carol Jean; his uncle Charles Green; and his son Adam James Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his daughter Natalie Richards (Warner) of Canfield; his daughter-in-law Wendy Richards of Canfield; his grandchildren, Addison James Richards, Claire Louise Reph (Karl), Becket James Richards, Eleanor Gayle Richards, Isaac James Richards and Nathanael Blake Warner; his great grandchild Rowan James Reph; and his siblings, Roger Richards (Judy) of Millstadt, IL and Marcia Phillips of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
