It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Straley Melvin E of Canfield, Ohio, born in Austintown, Ohio, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Straley and Hilda Straley (Carnes); his wife Mary F. Ausnehmer; his brothers, Delbert Straley and Elton Straley; and his grandson Cody Straley.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Straley (Melinda) of Lake Milton, Donald Straley of Canfield and Lori Hoon of Canfield; his grandchildren, Darryll Hoon (Kelly) and Brittany Hoon (Derek); and his great grandchild Jonathan Straley.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Old North Church (7105 Herbert Rd, Canfield, OH 44406). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
