He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Phillips and Sophie Phillips Thayer (Borowick); his stepfather William Thayer; and his brother Terry L. Phillips. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Jones (Dale) of Billings; the mother of his child Myra Dupree; his grandchildren, Simon, Christian, Elias and Loren; his sister Sandra Calvin of Canfield; his niece Shelly McIlvaine (Robert); and his great-niece Caroline McIlvaine.
