It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Howenstine (Canton, Ohio), who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Nye and Mary Nye (Klingensmith); her husband James Howenstine; her brother Fred Nye; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Howenstine.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Howenstine, Kathy Maynard (Jerry) and Leigh-Ann Howenstine (Carlos Miramontes); her parents-in-law, Shirley Nye and William Howenstine (Dianne); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Trevor Howenstine (Amy), Joshua Howenstine, Heather Messick (P. T.), Marissa, Paul Messick, Steve Nye (Chris Moniger) and Melissa Zenoby (Jerome); her close friends, Don and Nancy Miller; and her pet Chase. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Church of the Lakes or the Parkinson's Foundation.
