She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Lutz and Elizabeth Lutz (Heyer); her husband Walter Hahlen; her siblings, Walter, Ellsworth Lutz and Dorothy Chilcott; and her half-brothers, Clarence and Lawrence.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles Hahlen (Connie) of Uniontown and Mark Hahlen (Brenda) of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Hahlen Family Heritage Scholarship Fund.
