He was predeceased by: his daughter Christine Lee; his sister Kylene Staats (Joyce); his nephew Odell Brown (Buddy); and his parents, Albert Samples and Naomi Samples.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Samples; his daughter Sherry Morris (Tyson); his siblings, Sandra Bohaychyk, Eva Lynn Samples, Michael Scott Samples and Pamela Schleig; and his grandchildren, Michael Ritter (Jaimee), Brittany Lee, Adriana Lee, Nathaniel Miller, Marissa Lee and Destiny Mayle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Reed Funeral Home in honor of Gary to help with funeral expenses.
