He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Mardyla. He is survived by: his daughter Linda Hess; his son-in-law Chuck Hess; his son Joseph D. Mardyla; and his grandchildren, Katie Schirack (Chad), Michelle Foster (Nick), Stephanie Mardyla (Cory Cunningham), Hannah, Jaxson, Mason and Nina. He is also survived by three sisters and three brothers.
