Josephine M. Mezquita Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2022, at the age of 97, Josephine M. Mezquita (Canton, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Vicente and Carmela Vicente; her husband Andrew Mezquita; her siblings, Laureana Vicente, Palmira Gil, Manuel, Frank, Peter and Gesus Vicente; and her great grandchild Jayani Seth.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew John Mezquita (Susan) and Carmela A. Mezquita (Scott Moorhouse); and her grandchildren, Cristal Bourn (Andy), Kimberly Seth (Ajay), Kerri Brown (Ronald), John Mezquita (Lisa) and Lawrance "Larry" Mezquita (Lisa). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Akron Children's Hospital- Jayani's Army Fund or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
