He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bettye (Sliger); his children, Nathan (Shannon) and Megan Dennison (Todd); and his siblings, Pat and Anna. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Summit Missions or Rahab Ministry of Akron.
