He is survived by: his parents, Walter Stanley and Lois Stanley Colburn; his stepfather Ray Colburn; his brother Walter Stanley, Jr.; his wife Eugenia "Jean" B. Stanley; his children, Richard A. Stanley Jr., James Stanley, Mark A. Stanley (Katherine), John S. Russell III, Patricia E. Stanley and Christina S. Morello (Anthony); his grandchildren, Jonathan S. Russell IV, Regan E. Morello, Nina F. Morello and Anthony "Enzo" Morello; his sister-in-law Mary Stanley; and also Catherine R. McDonnell.
