He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldo Venuto and Esther Venuto (Malatesta); his former wife Lena Venuto; and his siblings, Nick Venuto and Mary Sweezy.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Venuto; his children, Rosalie Johnson, Diana Bittaker and Jerry Venuto; and his stepchildren, Libby Wasser, Jimmy Watson, Jodi Moody and Debbie Sage. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
