It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore F. Savastano of Canton, Ohio, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Philip Savastano and Rose Savastano (Trippi). He is survived by : his wife Carole Savastano (Henderson); his son Mark Savastano (Anne); his grandchildren, Philip and Sophia of Canton; his son Keith Savastano (Janice); his grandson David of Redmond, WA; his daughter Jean Chojnacki (Peter); his grandchildren, Matthew, Katie and Michael of Hudson; his daughter Ellen Velez (Peter); his grandchildren, Vincent and Kai of Shaker Heights; his brother Ron Savastano (Marquita) of Roswell, Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Girard of Mashpee, MA and Brian Henderson (Cindy) of Shrewsbury, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, a nephew, and several cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lamiell Funeral Home (1353 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44703). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist (627 McKinley Ave NW, Canton, OH 44703).
