It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Connolly of Cardington, Ohio, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Connolly; her sons, Danny Sharpe and Raymond Connolly; her granddaughter Roseanne Sharpe; and her siblings, Edker Daniel (Chris), Leroy Daniel (MaryJane), Will Daniel Charles Caleb (Della), Mercedes Chadwick (Bill), Sara Gilliam (Paul), Mollie Harris (Charles), Evelyn Stratton (Tom), Delilah Daukas (Mike) and Beaula Ward (Virgil).
She is survived by: her children, David Sharpe of Columbus and Sharon Vickery of Cardington; her daughter-in-law Cindy Sharpe of Fulton; her grandchildren, Tara Garcia, Jeremiah Sharpe (Deanna) and Will Vickery (Ciarra); and her sisters, Doris McCarter, Dorothy Shackleford (Mike), Betty Jo Blanton (Bill), Barbara Osborn, Mary Daniel and Linda Curtis (Steve). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (5142 Co Rd 25, Marengo, OH 43334). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Harmoney Baptist Church (5142 Co Rd 25, Marengo, OH 43334).
