He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Nye and Flossie Mae Nye (Putnam); his siblings, Crene Nye, Esther Risner, Rosella Risser, Leonard Nye, Robert Nye, Annabelle Phillips, Fred Nye, Dwight Nye, Louise Shaull, Carol Walter, Donna Greer and Reid Nye; and his son-in-law Bradley Currie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Kin (Wayne) and Theresa Lyons (Donald); his grandchildren, CJ Kin (Jill), Samantha Zaciewski (Tom), Nicholas Kin (Melanie), Tobias Kin (Ashley), Danee Currie, Alexis Binder (Orion), Diana Gomez (William) and Donald Lyons Jr. (Grace); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Brady, Lillian, Margaret, Simon, Theodore, Josephine, Clayton, Tanner, Emelia, Josie, Luna, Aysia, Teryn, Priscilla and Levi; and his brother Ron Nye (Roberta).
