With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Meador of Carey, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Meador to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Creed Meadows and Odessa Meadows (Spangler); his daughter Debbie VanWelden; and his siblings, A. E. Moye (Bud), Betty McDowell, Mary Lou Rosendale and June Hampshire.

He is survived by : his wife Helen Ritzler; his children, Tom Meador (Kim), Robin Nungester (John), Paul Ritzler, Tammy Chundzinski (Kenny), Shari Lutz (Tim), Michelle Beier (Scott) and Deanna Blakley (Jesse); and his siblings, Jerry Meadows (Phyllis) and Sandy Hawkins. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
