He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn McClanahan and Sarah Jane McClanahan; and his siblings, Ruby Davis, Curby McClanahan, Roy McClanahan, Ruth Owens, Alvie McClanahan, Eula Fields, Beula McClanahan and Robert McClanahan.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Jennifer Ratliff (Scott) and Kimberly McClanahan-Lora (Cam); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Jackson, Brady and Hadasha. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
