It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Klaas Bruinsma of Carroll, Ohio, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Klaas Bruinsma to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Meindert Bruinsma and Neeltje Westra. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Bruinsma; his siblings, Doede Bruinsma, Aaltje Sijke Weilinga-Bruinsma and Pieter Bruinsma; his children, Michael Bruinsma, Shirley Searfoss (William) and Peter Bruinsma (Colleen); and his grandsons, Sean, Luke Searfoss and Nicholas Bruinsma.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Pickerington (550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church (895 Old Diley Rd, Pickerington, OH 43147).
