He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Smith and Roberta Smith (Herron); and his sister Donna Moore. He is survived by : his wife Pamela Smith (Briggs); his children, Heather Smith (Traci Willard) of Akron and David Thomas Briggs-Smith of Akron; his siblings, Karen Mercer (Joseph), Lisa Miller (David), Steven Smith (Peggy), Mark Smith and Ronald Smith (Nicole); his brother-in-law John Moore of East Liverpool; and his grandchildren, Paul Thomas Balint and Tristan Zane Balint. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
