In loving memory of John L. Armstrong of Carrollton, Ohio, who departed this world on August 5, 2025 at the age of 82. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Armstrong and Catherine Armstrong (Bollinger); his siblings, Richard Armstrong, James Armstrong and Carol DeVaughn; and his grandson Joshua R. Hochstetler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leisa Arnold (Sam) of Delroy and Kim Skeel (Steve) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Amber Hochstetler, Matthew Hochstetler (Julie) and Emily Skeel; his great grandchildren, Payton and Blakely Hostetler; and his brother Donald Armstrong (Linda) of Bellefountaine.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home (115 Andreas Dr NE, Sugarcreek, OH 44681). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
