He was predeceased by : his parents, James B. McDannels and Viola C. McDannels (Gibson). He is survived by : his daughters, Carol Gregor, Sandra Molitor (Ken) and Robin Boyd (John). He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dodds Funeral Home -Amsterdam (207 S Main St, Amsterdam, OH 43903). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
