He is survived by: his children, Jeff Shoup, Susan Smith (Fred), Catherine Brenner (Derrin) and Karen Patton (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kristen McConnell (Jon), Jennifer Meade (Ben), Dannielle Lecky (Kevin), Emily Smith, Lucy Smith and Megan Knepper (Adam); his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Jacie, Joey McConnell, Hazel Meade, Nick, Alex, Sawyer, Hayden and Parker Lecky; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry "Butch" Spears, Nancy Spears and Tom Kirk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
