He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Edward and Doris Jean Long (Lewis); his children, Cassondra "Candy" Long and Phillip Christopher "Chris" Long; and his grandson Mika Benjamin Long.
He is survived by : his wife Georgene Long (Powell); his sisters, Debbie of Troy and Tammy Long of Troy; his grandchildren, Justin Long of Vermont and Margo Long of Troy; and his daughter-in-law Amy Long of Troy.
