He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Carr, Raul and Mary Veliz; his aunt Rosemary Gonzales Veliz; and his uncle Jesse Veliz.
He is survived by: his parents, Tammy Easterwood and Jimmy Veliz; his son Mateo Veliz; his siblings, Chrystal Matter, Candra Matter (Adam Sibley) and Jordan Veliz; and his grandmother Phyllis Carr. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service (610 S Washington St, Castalia, OH 44824).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mateo Veliz in care of the family.
