She was predeceased by: her stepson Garrett Barnette; her sister Nancy Bath; her brother-in-law Larry Bath; and her parents, Franklin Borchardt and Dora Borchardt (Meggitt).
She is survived by: her husband Jeffery Barnette; her daughter Lorellei Smith (Jerry); her stepchildren, Jeffery Barnette (Samantha), Benjamin Barnette, Danah Balduff (Eric) and Penny Barnette; her sisters, Peggy Lenyo (George), Joanne Shelley (Mike) and Diane Moore (Tim); and her niece Julie Perry (David). She is also survived by seven grandsons; seven granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ransom Funeral Home (610 S Washington St, Castalia, OH 44824). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service (610 S Washington St, Castalia, OH 44824).
