With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary A. Templeton of Castalia, Ohio, whose life came to an end on December 10, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Crosser and Genevieve Crosser (Miller); her grandson Brad Rudolph; and her sister Carol Homola. She is survived by: her husband James Templeton; her children, Ruthann Kain (Barry) of Kettering, OH, Margaret Rudolph (David) of Pittsburgh, PA, Laura Alkire (Eric) of Bellevue, OH and Jim Templeton (Debbie) of Troy, OH; and her grandchildren, Molly Hughes (Matt), Patrick Kain (Gibby), Jay Kain, James Templeton (Megan), Jacob Templeton, Ben Rudolph, Brock Rudolph, Glen Alkire, Katie Alkire and Max Alkire. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (429 Central Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
