She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Selke and Martha Selke (Martin); her in-laws, Robert, Florence Swartz and Emily Egbert (Rowe); and her aunts and uncles, Aschel, Catherine Deleruyello, Dud, Pam Andres, Charles, Sophia Andres (Sally), Henry, Helen Kaufman (Selke), John Martin (Lucille) and Art Martin.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Jean Leimeister (John); her children, Randy Swartz (Jenny), Sandy Palmer (Larry) and Scott Swartz (Sharon); her grandchildren, Tracey Kramp (Zack), Ryan Palmer (Stacey), John Swartz, Kristen Wuchter (Josh), Cameron Swartz, Casey Swartz (Brianna), Megan Breece (Christopher) and Connor Swartz; and her great grandchildren, Erin, Leah, Jackson, Alex, Olivia and Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ransom Funeral Home (610 S Washington St, Castalia, OH 44824). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service (610 S Washington St, Castalia, OH 44824).
Patty was a devoted lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church 502 Bardshar Rd. Sandusky, OH 44870.
