With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Gillam (Castalia, Ohio), who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Enoch Gillam and Mindie Alice Gillam; his siblings, James Frank Gillam, Claude Gillam and Beulah Strong; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd Strong, Sandra Gillam (Bratchie) and Aretta Gillam Smith (Lambert).

He is survived by: his wife Margie Gillam (Patton); his daughters, Barb Hawkins (Rich) of Castalia and Deb Yost (Rusty) of Castalia; and his brother Carlos Gillam of Mansfield. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
