He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Edwin and Anna Mae Beechler (Fischer); his wife Judy L. Beecher (Teasel); his son-in-law Bill Lyons; his sister Betty Kromer; his stepmother Mildred Beechler (Yantz); and his stepsister Nancy Teasel.
He is survived by: his children, Suann Ward (James) of Bellevue, Danna Lyons of Castalia, Mike Beechler of Castalia and Randy Beechler (Linda) of Castalia; his grandchildren, Cory, Lindsay, Nicole, David, Dusten, Beau and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Kaylee, Aydin, Braylin, Logan, Evelyn, Autumn, Sutton, Cieley, Madelyn, Thayer, Maren, Remi and Oliver; his great great grandchildren, Linkoln and Jameson; and his sister Agnes Nickle of Castalia. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
