He is survived by: his children, David Lawton (Rebecca) of Norfolk, VA, Donny Dougal of Defiance, OH, Francis Maag (Tonya) of Paulding, OH, Danny, Dale Steel of Cecil, OH, Barb Wiegmann (Marc) of Fort Wayne, IN and Mary Kupfersmith (Ray) of Cecil, OH; and his sister Kathy Masterson (Bob) of Avon, OH. He is also survived by 19 Grandkids, and 24 Great Grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the CHP of Paulding.
