He was predeceased by: his brother Dewayne Hand. He is survived by: his parents, Mike Hand and Debbie Hand (Van Arsdalen) of West Unity, OH; his wife Tess VanVlerah of Cecil, OH; his children, Madelynn Schlueter (Lylah Schlueter), Lily Hand of Columbia City, Wyatt VanVlerah and Emberly VanVlerah (Leonah VanVlerah); and his siblings, Elicia Hand of Toledo, OH, Tina Dennis (Jeremy) of Pioneer, OH, Martha Frasca (Peter) of Boston, MA. and Mike Hand (Theresa) of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
