He was predeceased by: his parents, John Isaac and Eunice May Gander (Koenig); his wife Pam Gander; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Wohlgamuth and James Pond.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gene Gander (Inell) and Margaret Wohlgamuth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
