He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry William and Rachel Ethel Deitsch (Runkel); and his wife Joan Dolores Fowler. He is survived by: his daughters, Carla Johnson (John) of Rockford, Elaine Knapke (Tim) of Celina and Sue Ellen (Melvin).
