He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis L. Gilmore and Lelia Marie Gilmore (Swank); his wife Jeanette Eicher; his siblings, William Gilmore (Gladys), Robert Gilmore, Helen Spicer (Jack) and Dorothy Dingledine; and his brother-in-law Lee Cooney.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Gilmore (Kathy) of Florida, Jeff Gilmore (Jeanie) of California, Michele Rigali (David) of Lima and Laura McNeilan (Dave) of Celina; his sister Pauline Cooney of Lima; and his brother-in-law Morris Dingledine of Lima. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home (1350 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
