He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Keefer and Burdella Keefer (Brink); and his siblings, Harold, Curtis, Homer Keefer, Bernice, Jeannie, Mary Lou and Luanne Keefer.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Keefer (Danni) of Fayette and Scott Keefer of Wauseon, Ohio; his stepdaughter Michelle Risch of Celina; his stepgrandson Gavin Schoch of Celina; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, Trey, Andrew, Cade and Connor.
