He was predeceased by: his father Ed Wenning; his wife Tana Sweigart; and his siblings, Dave Wenning, Daniel Wenning, Jan Dues and Patricia Wenning.
He is survived by: his mother Agnes Wenning (Feltz) of St. Marys; his children, Neil Wenning (Caryn) of Rockford, Yvonne Wenning of Findlay and Maria Wenning of Van Wert; the mother of his children Sue Wenning of Rockford; his stepsons, Jim Sweigart (Jane) of Cincinnati, Jeff Sweigart (Kim) of St. Marys and John Sweigart of Celina; his siblings, Carl Wenning (Carolyn) of Normal, Bev Gray (Bill) of Las Vegas, Christy Triplett of Lima and Tim Wenning of Sidney; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Kissler of Hendersonville and Jerry Dues of Celina. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
