She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gerlach and Philomena Gerlach (Clune); her husband Mark Niekamp; her son-in-law Mark Uhlenhake; and her in-laws, Pauline Klosterman (Leroy), Clarence Gerlach (Pauline), Harold Edgar Gerlach, Victor Gerlach (Betty), Ruth Niekamp (Paul), Robert Gerlach (Elsie), James Gerlach (Rose), Harold Gerlach, Rose Kramer (Othmer), Clete Niekamp (Hilda), Tom Niekamp and Ralph Schmitt.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Niekamp (Janet) of Celina, Jane Weitzel (Lavern) of Ft. Recovery, Charles Niekamp (Karen) of Celina and Virginia Axe (David) of Celina; and her in-laws, Luella Rindler, Dorothy Schmitt and Edna Lochtefeld (Roger). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
