Elton B. Meiring Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elton B. Meiring of Celina, Ohio, born in Minster, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Frank Meiring; his former wife Esther Vehorn; his children, Robert, Rick and Kathy Dues; his siblings, Lucille (Clarence Miller), Stan (Mary Meiring), Odella (Norman Johnson), Alvera (Paul Miller), Marcus "Mike" (Irene Meiring), Roland "Mort" Meiring and Betty (Tom Heitbrink); and his siblings-in-law, Sally, Vic Huelskamp, Vera, Werner Stucke, Mary, Al Miller, Al Ernst, Herb, Donna Vehorn, Bill Vehorn, Ralph and Nancy Vehorn.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Pore (Lifer); his children, Greg of Minster, Lisa Meiring of Minster, Bill Meiring of Minster, Sue of Minster and Jon Brandewie of Minster; his son-in-law Jim Dues; his stepchildren, Steve Lindeman, Karen, Bill Hope, Dana Pore, Cindy Ridenour and Scott Pore; and his sister-in-law Dottie Meiring. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
