She was predeceased by: her parents, Orin Hammer and Dorothy Hammer; her siblings, Joanne Brown, John, Don and Pete Hammer; and her daughter-in-law Racinda Maxwell.

She is survived by: her sons, Alfred "Ted" Maxwell Jr., David Maxwell of Celina and Douglas Maxwell of New Concord; her grandchildren, Tammy Miller, Cindy Maxwell, Kristy Maxwell, Carolann Dennis, Kati Shamsho and Cody Maxwell; her brothers, Roger and Steve Hammer; and her pet Buddy.
